Not adding Memphis is a huge mistake....

I'm not a huge fan of any of these adds (but understand the reality of the situation). But, I agree, Memphis brings more than Houston or even a few others mentioned. They are credible in football and very good in bball and they have money to invest in their program (and already have nice facilities). I also liked the proximity to WVU as at least one more school that is mere hundreds of miles away.

I don't like Houston because it gives state of Texas 30% voting power on everything.

They've been a program that many have said should be added because they're up and coming and nothing has happened that leads me to believe it was a big miss. Many programs would benefit from being added to a major conference and it's impossible to say what would happen if they were added. I don't like any of the options being discussed but I don't see how anyone could say they are clearly a better choice than BYU or even Houston.

BYU was not and will not be a good conference member, Mini ND, I know you understand that. Their worth is not good enough to suffer through a headache. Anyway, WVU will be gone before too long, I truly believe that. We're just in a secrecy mode right now.
