McNamara didn’t play versus us - but if the win is vacated for an opponent, that doesn’t automatically make it a win for us.

E.g. we still count all of JoePa’s vacated wins as losses.

Per ESPN: “McNamara went 4-1 with the Hawkeyes in 2023 before suffering a knee injury. The NCAA ruled that McNamara was ineligible for those wins over Utah State, Iowa State, Western Michigan and Michigan State, which will now be vacated.”

Not really. They take a win away from them but they do not give it to us, It might mean that we lost one less. But from another post, it does not look like he played against us in the game at Wrigley
They had that huge guy at QB that had like one good pass all year (against us, to ice the game)
