Saint is darkhorse to win the conference. Alexander Central returns a lot and could have a good season. .

McDowell has to make big strides on defense to compete with the upper echelon. Best WR from last year and one of the best athletes on the team moved to QB. WRs and skill players will be pretty good. All up to the lines. RS central looks to be pretty good this year so week 1 will be telling.

Until Watauga loses a conference game (going on a decade since they have) Habich will continue to get the benefit of the doubt from me.
Freedom loses Kobe Johnson to graduation, and I still can't believe no one offered him a scholarship. But I expect him to do great things as a walk on at App State. The young QB who comes back has a lively arm, and we'll have to see how well he does filling Kaden Davis' shoes. He does have some athletic recievers to throw to,
Saint's coach showed us he's building up that program based on what he did last year. The good news for Freedom is that the Indians must come to Morganton for this year's game.

Yeah its hard to bet against Habich. Definitely feels a little more wide open this year. Might be a lot closer games which is great for fans. Watauga curbstomped almost everyone last year.
