I agree and watch the game vs AC Reynolds they did the same.
ACR is very talented and Shelby made them look stupid. I drove down to see the game. Shelby, at least offensively, is one of the top 3 or 4 teams statewide regardless of classification. Defensively not so much but they have speed everywhere. The only way Shelby loses this year is if they beat themselves.

Oh have some faith Pats lol. Love ya buddy. They’ll have plenty of practice for the bench this Friday that’s for sure. I’m not sure EB will ever beat Freedom again. Either kids just ain’t coming out or there doing best they can and there are just no athletes in Hildebran.

I would say yes. Until Freedom wins a meaningful game. They are paper champions.
AC can’t stop the pass Statesville threw for almost 400 yards last week. Freedom beat AC last season one kid had 10 catches for 275 3 TDs so until they sure up their secondary A-C won’t win it.
Cheerduck, what’s going on with Hickory, are they competitive? Is Coach Sone making a difference?
HHS was low on numbers to begin the season, especially linemen. The injury bug hit hard and the competition we are playing is high caliber. The next couple of weeks are not any better before heading into conference play either. Hopefully we get a few players back to help out and Coach can work some magic.
Watauga, Freedom, and AC. Top 3 way too predictable. Figured South might give a good game for 2nd this year but after Bandys game, ain’t happening.
Don’t think any of us will ever see EB take out Freedom ever again. Difference in athletic calibure is just too much.
Never say never. Patton pulled the upset a few years ago over Freedom. This was their one and only win over Freedom. The program was an absolute wreck that year.

pride does play a role in this one, which means Patton will bring their best. Overall
I think they'll have a hard time With Freedom's passing game.
On another note, I think Freedom should have worked on establishing a better running game
the last 2 weeks while playing Draugh & East Burke.

No question Freedom is head and shoulders above Draughn and EB and would get more out of practicing then playing them. Patton still gets a few Morganton athletes but not enough to even it out. I’m sure Freedom will watch the AC- Statesville film and implement the same game plan. Freedom still has crest on the schedule and even with a 9-2 finish if they were to lose to one of the next big 3 opponents. They would still be ranked higher according to maxpreps.

And neither of these teams you mentioned won't be catholic nor Kings Mountain! Northwest run will be over soon! As soon as Ktown beats them back to the dweller they go! I was around when northwest was getting beat 98-0 don't act like they have been a power. And weddington has Shipley phenomenal player. Take him away they are average.

Our kids needed this win as they have fought tough competition all year and are still fighting injuries, As the Patriots saw tonight, a key injury will definitely affect the entire team.
He appeared to be having some back spasms. He did put his pads back on late in the 4th but did not return. Appears that the starting QB for HHS has reinjured his shoulder and is most likely done for the season as well.
