Northwest 3A/4A Final Week

[Original_Pridetaker]

2nd-5th will be decided in the conference tonight. West Stokes is off and has wrapped up the conference championship with a forfeit from Surry Central. Surry Central finished last in the conference after folding their varsity season. In action tonight to close the regular season,

East Surry @ Mt. Airy (2nd and 3rd place game)
Forbush @ North Surry (4th and 5th place game)

I do think both games will be close to start out but I'll say MA and NS by two scores each.

I think Mt Airy wins the second place spot 42-14. I'll go North Surry wins tonight in close game with Forbush 36-28. Would not surprise me If Forbush pulls the upset. Forbush QB can make a play.

Just noticed West Stokes shows win by FF against Northeast Guilford. They lost the game 22-19. Have to check on this

It shows Northeast Guilford had to forfeit 5 games

It's not football but Bryan Morrison from West Stokes won the 4a state championship in Cross Country today. Bright future for this runner.

Team results Girls finished 3rd and boys took 4th place
