Top Half
L1 Madison Too much for a Concorde also ran this year
C4 Robinson
N2 Edison No way Edison allows Finnerty to shoot 3s all day
P3 Woodson
C1 Centreville Next
L4 Fairfax
P2 West Springfield WS is down this year but this is nothing more than going through the motions for WS.
N3 Wakefield
Bottom Half
P1 TC Williams Not much of a game here either
N4 Washington and Lee
C2 Oakton Expect this game to be close most of the way. McLean could upset.
L3 McLean
N1 Mount Vernon MV press too much for LB guards. Pace of play keeps LB's Butler from being a diff maker.
P4 Lake Braddock
L2 South Lakes This one will be interesting for awhile if Chantilly shortens their bench to their top 7-8.

L1 Madison This was a better game for awhile than anyone ever anticipated, but Madison pulled away as expected.
C4 Robinson
N2 Edison Finnerty shut down, Edison romps.
P3 Woodson
C1 Centreville C'ville had to work for this one.
L4 Fairfax
P2 West Springfield No contest - duh.
N3 Wakefield
Bottom Half
P1 TC Williams TC edges W&L in a much closer game than I expected
N4 Washington and Lee
C2 Oakton Oakton kept McLean close with the same bad TOs they had against C'Ville, but too much Manner & tough defense.
L3 McLean
N1 Mount Vernon Butler got her points for LB, but so did Loftus. Too much MV speed on the court
P4 Lake Braddock
L2 South Lakes I tried to warn that Tilly could possible pull it off, and they almost did. It was a SLakes squeaker.
C3 Chantilly

Predictions for Tuesday:
This round always seems to bring an upset or two every year...3 of the 4 games should be well contested.
Quarters:
Top Half
L1 Madison
N2 Edison Without Kushuta, it will take another big effort from Madison to upset Edison. Expect a hot, close one, though.
C1 Centreville This game is a toss up for me. But I'm taking the home team as C'Ville is a tough place to play. Upset alert, though.
P2 West Springfield
Bottom Half
P1 TC Williams Sorry to say that this is my upset special, and that's all I have to say on the subject. I have my reasons.
C2 Oakton
N1 Mount Vernon Simply put, MV. This is a remix of yesterday's LB game pretty much. Likely the only runaway this round.
L2 South Lakes

Actually, I knew Manner was out so I picked TCW.
I knew there would be an upset or two because there always is. I didn't see the MV meltdown coming though.
People don't realize how hard it is to win every year. You can't just suit up in the playoffs and expect to win. It takes a daily focus and you have to bring your game every night or you can get bit.
Schools like Princess Anne, Lake Taylor, Oakton, W Springfield have special mojo/expectation that starts with their coaches.

Sorry, Lavoy. I didn't mean to leave FP out of a random post.
The teams noted were just off the top of my head. Its been awhile since FP strung together region title games and trips to VCU.
