Northern Illinois game thread

[Gmoney4WW]

We won't see much better competition till the western kentucky game. We still won't see real competition till the three game stint against Miss St, Oregon St, Illinois St. Will be good to see how we come out in those 3 or 4 games.

[Gmoney4WW]

Loofe missed one on the inside because he didn't go up hard enough to get that basket.

[Loca5174]

NIU outscored us 35-29 this half

[TU 1978]

Why is Sifferlin on the bench?

[loudmouth]

First time watching

Guards are nice

Bigs are iffy

Defense needs to improve immensely

Konkol needs to figure out a top 8

NIU will win 10 games max this year

Yup

[TulsaAM]

It has to be frustrating for NIU when it's obvious Tulsa is basically running a practice for the last 10 minutes of the game.

Running set plays in game conditions

That's fine and good
Wish the defensive intensity was better

Loofe 9-9 at the line and we hit 70.6% I'll take that.

@TulsaAM & @loudmouth arguing about how bad we are. Popcorn tastes good.

I loved the postgame interview w/ Lawal. They said hey you got 6 of 7 from the line that's pretty good but you might wanna talk to loofe about your line shooting and get some advice.

Loofe had some great looking free throws. NBA caliber free throws

Tulane is going to lose at home to Jackson State unless they get a miracle 3 with a second left

The way they lost that game is absolutely comical

just as comical as how we lost the NIT championship last season

Not quite. We choked on the line down the stretch where we were one of the best teams in the country all season. At least no one on our side called a time-out we didn't have to hand the other team 2 FTs with virtually no time left (in a tie game at that).

Tylen was slapped so hard on his drive to the basket it sounded like a thunder clap 6 rows away... Lots to say here, it was one of the greatest comebacks in Tulsa history to even get to that point...
