Sounds like JD and Mills both had symptoms consistent with norovirus and Nelson had influenza B. Noa was also sick in addition to being injured.

Both pretty damned contagious, don't be surprised if a lot of the rest of the team gets sick as hell this week and either can't go or isn't 100%. In all seriousness I hope they had the locker room sanitized over the weekend while they were away.

For clarity, when you're puking/crapping that isn't "the flu" as influenza is a respiratory illness. Flu is fever, chills, aches, runny nose, cough.

When it's "coming out both ends" as Scott said, that's norovirus or novovirus. And boy do you ever puke your guts out, very common to be hopsitalized for dehydration because you just can't keep anything down. Usually also the one that causes schools to be shut down and decontaminated.

2 of my 3 kids had it a week ago, as did the wife. Was ridiculous trying to sanitize the house behind them.

Funny thing is, pretty sure the kids got it in the waiting room at the doctors office while waiting for a flu vaccine..

I had stomach pains, but it never became all out like everyone else’s.

The stomach bug went around to everyone in our house the last two weeks. It started with the 14 month old. i had it two Fridays ago and I still don't have much of an appetite. Everything i eat makes my stomach uneasy.

Hard to tell the difference between that and food poisoning.

Kanawai Noa is done. He had to have a meniscus repaired and he'll be out this week. No report on Wandale but everything I've heard says he done for the year.

MD and indiana only games that Luke really played in. Then he had the 1 play against minny was it? So he'll be playing in friday and then can sit out the bowl after we beat iowa.

Northwestern. But yeah, he will play and still have a redshirt available.

Sorry @NikkiSixx, can’t skewer the coaches on this one yet. If we make a bowl, have at it.

Yep they probably had food poisoning.
Yeah if it was norovirus guess more than just 2 would have caught it. Which is good, last thing we need is that going through the whole team this week.

All 46 schools in our community closed Thursday and Friday due to norovirus. Over 20,000 students got a couple more days of vacation before Thanksgiving break.

Been reading that it’s a hammy... but read it on this board so not sure.
I don't know where hamstring pull came from. I've not heard that anywhere that I would consider reliable. There's no doubt that he took a hit on top of his hip and was holding that after the hit. It looked like a pretty obvious hip pointer. The game he came out of where he couldn't or wouldn't bear weight on a leg, he took a hit to the side of his shin area. That is the type of hit that can fracture your fibula. They very clearly were examining his fibula on the field and elicited great pain when they pressed on it. Often they report that injury as a high ankle sprain (TMart). That's a bone that is non-weight bearing and it's just a matter of how much pain you can stand or whether or not they deaden it before you play. You're unlikely to cause much further harm by playing with it (Ahman Green's soph year). That said, at some point if the pain's too much, you shut it down for 3-4 weeks at least. My money would be on a non-displaced fractured fibula and hip pointer.

Wash your sss and hands
lots of hand sanitizer and don't eat with your hands after opening the door to the restaurant without REALLY sanitizing your hands. That said, if the guy flipping the burger uses bad technique in his cleanliness, you're screwed.
