Maybe the Ruuds are the best legacy but it’s debatable. Bo left such a bad taste and him and Barrett played in the dark days of the program.

I would caution on using NFL careers as a litmus test. There is a long list of unheralded college players whose NFL careers far surpassed many of our Outland/heisman and all American players. That shouldn’t diminish what our guys accomplished while at NU
