against a top 15 team. That's 92% completion percentage, but they were all short passes so I am not impressed. What a loser, wish we Matt Corrall instead.

After thinking about it a bit more I feel bad for the sarcasm....

If you watch football the rest of your life you will probably never see a performance like that again. Throwing over 35+ pass attempts with 90%+ completion percentage is probably some kind of record. 17 Matt Corrall.

And he broke the school record for consecutive completions twice. In one game. That's hard to wrap your ming around. Granted. The old record, 12, was not very good and was set by Costello just last year. And, our offense is set up for Rogers to complete a lot of passes. But still, he broke the school record for consecutive completions in a single game TWICE in the same game.

I do not believe this is correct. Wesley Carroll says hello.

ETA: wait, that was passes without an interception, wasn’t it.

This fan base has been terribly wrong about a lot of things. One would think eventually we would be humbled, but it never takes longer than the next errant pass. Then it’s doomsday all over again.

I was hoping for it to be sarcasm. Rogers only issue is speed. Other than that he is a really good QB. The best QB in NFL history runs like a little old grandma. They just keep getting better. I think with out the bye week they would have played Bama better.

Rogers is doing exactly what he's being asked to do

And he gets better every game. No he doesn't have a cannon, but he's executing exactly what Leach is game planning. Notice those RB check downs - the RBs didn't suddenly learn to cut - he's just placing the ball in the perfect spot for them to catch and turn up field smoothly. That's the difference bt 2-3 yards and 5-8.

Now that the short to mid game is being executed at a high level, I assume we start looking for the down field routes more often. It'll be fun to see the next stage in his progression.
