You’re right. I agree that losses happen in baseball but daggum they have been pretty bad the last few weeks. I’m just selfish and wanted a clean sweep

When we saw the early part of the ACCBaseball Tournament game between the satanics and the boogerflickers, the boogerflickers were up 3-0. I see that the satanics won 21-12, so does that loss and being under .500 in the conference regular season mean that baseball is over for the year in west Raleigh?
At first I really didn’t care about state making the NCAAT, I just cared about us. After dealing with the crap I did on Saturday with their fans, I hope this dook loss will make them part of the first four out.

They play in the BIG... in baseball... They may be very good, but their conference travel and play won't sell me on them being for real the best team in the country.
It probably still got them into the tourney... so I'd say it was a pretty smart move.
why do you think with their weak non-conf, losing acc record, and borderline rpi they deserve to be in? Even with a soft bubble? Aaron Fitt isn’t on the selection committee to blow smoke up their rear about how lol is for real.

Clemson made it interesting with 2 outs in the 9th, it a microcosm of their season.. just couldn’t do enough all year.

I def didn't see clemson and LSU being on the wrong side of the bubble coming into the year. I'm interested to see what changes they make in the offseason.
There appear to be about 26 people on hand for the Duke vs Virginia game at 9am this morning. 1-1 game after one inning.
That sounds like a good idea. The clem fans are gonna want way more changes than holding players accountable tho.

Baseball America still has Tennessee as our 2 seed and ECU as the 3 seed
I know they've battled some injuries but I'm shocked what UVA's offense turned into. They scored 5.4 R/G in ACC games after our series, which would have rated only ahead of Cal and Duke in conference play. I thought they were going to be a top 5 offense in the league.

I mean Tenn RPI is #33... I think that's too LOW for us to have them as a #2 (as seeding is now done for at least regional 1 and 2 seeds to my knowledge by inverting the committee's rankings 1-32). But that's assuming the committee uses purely RPI, which they won't. Tenn ELO is 18 so I doubt we end up with them. We are now closer to getting Coastal as our #2 (via RPI) with their late slide, although their ELO is terrible despite an RPI of 27 (ELO is 47!). Jacksonville St. is actually closer in both RPI and ELO to being our #2...
interesting to look at DSR for these too - Tenn is at 17, CC at 29, Jacksonville St at 28. theoretically, if we're in the top 4 seeds, we should be assigned a 2 ranked between 29-32.
We may get a higher ranked two than we should due to 5 SEC schools projected as national seed . It's going be interesting. i feel Tennessee should be seeded higher than the upper twenties or lower thirties but we will see Monday afternoon. A win vs VA tech would make me feel better about a top 5 national seed . As a deep run by Auburn or Bama in the SEC tournament might be enough for them to jump us .
