November 13th, Mississippi Valley State will play in Rupp Arena. They hired Mike Davis as coach earlier in the offseason. The Delta Devils have arguably the toughest non conference schedule I've seen in a while. Par for the course though in the SWAC.

We just played the two most difficult schedules in school history. I'm not complaining about playing this cupcake game. You see the list of who else also has them on their schedule. Our schedule will remain plenty difficult anyway.

A 1 seed. The last time a SWAC school wasn't a 16 seed was in 1999 when Alcorn State got a 15 seed. Usually they wind up in Dayton at the First Four. Now with the expanded opening round, look for them to almost always be there.
