Plenty to discuss in the other threads about the team’s shortcomings. I don’t have much to add to the basketball discussion, but since it’s fun to complain, here are my random thoughts.
Food – they list 5 Jersey Mike’s subs on the menu, yet only have cheese steaks for sale. They also list a healthy option wrap, but I’ve never seen it for sale. Has been this way all year.
Halftime entertainment – can we get something? Throw the drumline/dance team out there for 5 minutes. One of the reasons my young kids enjoy coming to games is there is usually something cool at halftime (red panda, old man climbing on chairs). Yes, I understand there is a pandemic but can do something instead of staring at an empty floor for 15 minutes.
Hum song and Wonderwall remix – they ruined these by having the players talk/yell over the part where the crowd starts jumping/getting crazy. And they turned the volume down (this isn’t football, keep it loud).
Green lot – has been better this year, maybe since they put more people in the deck. Exit has been pretty good too. Only mess is that prior to game you have people coming out of the yellow lot from hospital road against the inflow of traffic which screws up suttons lane. Not sure of how to fix this since students are leaving around game time.
Actually, one complaint about the lot. Pedestrian traffic crossing from yellow to green walks across one of several foot bridges, which happen to have super high sides so it’s really hard to see people coming across. While driving into green lot, the pedestrians just seem to pop out of nowhere without slowing down since they have a crosswalk. I understand they have the right of way, and I always driver super slow there, but it’s an accident waiting to happen.
