How was FSU not in a Prevent Defense on that play? JSU was on their own 40 with 6 seconds left. Just put all your DBs back near the end zone. The Defensive Coordinator should have been fired on the spot.
The coach “explained” why. He said that Jax still had one time out left. So with 7 seconds on the clock they were afraid that a quick completion could put them in field goal range. In other words, he did not think Jax was in Hail Mary mode just yet. So they opted to put pressure on the QB. Wrong call.

Last week people were saying FSU was so much better and would win a lot of games this season because they have a ND team that isn't as good this year as they were the last few years.

Not in my book. Every year there’s more parity in college football. Hard for an upset today to rank with big upsets 10+ years ago. Plus FSU just isn’t that good.
Florida State is still paying the previous staff and they don't have money to fire Norvell. They are stuck with him. First time in school history that Florida State lost to an FCS school.

I'm on the 247 site. It's a complete meltdown mode.
Michigan was a top 10 team at the time (eyeroll) so no. JSU took top 10 Auburn to OT in 2015 and beat Ole Miss in 2010.
They are an above average FCS team that regularly gets castoffs from FBS programs.
FSU losing to JSU and ND escaping Toledo kind of takes the luster off the game last week.
Crappy #'s this game vs a crappy team and lame stas vs ND.
But hey, he is still super amazing.
No doubt about that.
If we had lost to Fordham, it would probably not have been very pretty in here either.
Hell, I think they almost lost to J-State a few years ago.
Think about it, they thought they were on the up...They thought Milton was a god (he sucks, look at his stats through two games) and they almost beat ND (who sucks) and then they lose this game?
The only good thing they have going for them is that the ACC is gayer than Rock Hudson.

It is a horrific and embarrassing loss for FSU.
This loss will put 50% less fans for most home games. Plus, they are trying to build up something but are so clearly lost.
