In all my years of watching college football I have never seen a team gang up like Tulsa did and approach our team and coaches. Not in regular season games or bowl games. Why did Tulsa force a confrontation after the game? Usually, the players mingle and the coaches head to the locker room. The head coaches were over where the trophy was being presented. Why was the Tulsa staff arguing with the State staff at midfield? I believe the entire incident was sparked by sour grapes with the Tulsa staff. I understand this was the third fight their staff had sparked this year and some of their fans were wanting a staff member fired for being the instigator.
