Yeah, I'm optimistic, but I can't see Noah lighting someone up for 25 in a game.
He should be capable of a 15 - 20 point outburst by now, though. He just has to find his role in the system that can get him his shots and keep playing hard and hustle and get rebounds ... that's good. He needs all that to get on the floor to begin with.
But when he gets his open shots, he has to be deadeye. That's his true worth. So hopefully, he will get his open looks this year and have the experience and wherewithal to get it done. That should be possible this year. Milan will get the primary best open looks as we can get him, so there would logically be room for Noah to sneak in and get one or two ( or more - per game)
I can see him getting 3 or 4, 5 really good looks in a game and sinking them, hitting 2 or 3 would be great for us, ideally he would hit 4 or 5, but he has to be efficient, and I don't think he wil lget enough minutes to get those kinds of opportunities. And he has to hustle his *** off, which he does. I'm not worried about that for him.
The rest will fall into place. He is a great player to have if utilized properly and he finds and accepts & embraces his role. And maybe that's why we always like to see Kentucky guys do well, so there is definitely more than just hope for him this year, I do believe. I'd like to believe that and see it happen !
