For real that nobody won? My guess on next drawing is 1.7 billion or more if nobody won tonight.

Now the winnings get reinvested into more tickets for Wednesday, rather than being spent on a couple of brews [cheers]

Lottery = Voluntary tax

Does the state keep some of the prize? I've got to imagine they get a large percentage just from income tax, right?

I tend to think it'll pass 1.3B and get to 1.5-1.7B at least judging by the way this last jackpot grew. I think the cash value before taxes may even hit or go over 1B.

I was hoping it might just to see it. Just thinking about a billion dollars in a lotto is crazy.

I don't understand why not having a winner is allowed. AT the very least your prior tickets should still be good for the next drawing.

Since you can't buy tickets with a credit card,at some point the supply of physical cash in the USA will become exhausted.Yellen may yet have to throw it from helicopters.

First thing is sign the ticket and put it somewhere safe (like a safe). Second thing the winner should do is hire security for his/her entire family. Then hire a financial adviser to set up trusts for kids or whatever for beneficiaries to help avoid estate taxes. Then notify the lottery folks, get the ticket validated and tell them they don't want their name publicized.

Then, and only then, should he/she purchase hookers and blow.

Disagree 10000%. He/she can use their current life savings on hookers and blow immediately and before having the ticket validated.

Yeah and I should get to keep all my chips on the roulette table until my #'s hit. I like it!

Most states make it so your name has to be publicized.

Oh well, at least the hookers will know who to go to.

Let's rig this so no one wins till we eliminate the debt. We are at $1B. After few rounds it will go to $1T and by the end of the year it will be $20T and then rule it unconstitutional and tie it up in courts for decades.

Sean Penn would still find you. Especially if you have blow. They should study his body. He is a medical marvel. I didn't realize someone could do blow every day for two decades and stay alive. Not till I heard what Sean Penn is up to.

I wonder if the every present security duo will negatively affect the atmosphere in the room w/the hookers and blow? Hm... winning $700 million has a lot of downsides.
