They'll get away with whatever they can. In recruiting, on the field and in life. That really is their identity.

It's hard to avoid it ALL the time. You are talking about a guy running at full speed toward a moving target. He has no idea if the guy is going to catch the ball or not. You don't have time to think about what you are doing. The rule is basically a lottery, and that's why I don't like it. If it's deliberately done then fine, but the rule allows no discretion.

That would help but with the no discretion way the rule is written it wouldn't eliminate it.
