Shaping up to be a great weekend. Most guys ever to make the cut at 65 and 9 guys within one shot of the lead! Lots of big names on the leader board: Phil, Koepka, Day, DJ, Scott, Molinari, ....and of course Tiger who is only one shot off the lead despite not taking advantage of the par 5's so far and missing a higher than normal amount of short putts.

Who's everyone got taking home the Green Jacket? Personally, I'm hoping it's Tiger, completing arguably the greatest comeback story in golf history. It would also be great if it was Phil as it would make him the oldest major winner in history. But you have to like Koepka's odds...that guy has been clutch in majors the last two years or so.

Aside from the 5-8 foot putts, Tiger is playing some great golf. He's right up there even without taking advantage of the par 5's. He's right where he needs to be, I'm taking Tiger all the way.

If Tiger keeps his driver under control for the most part I like him to win... But Koepka is gonna be tough to beat..

Tom Osborne analogy: Whoever is conditioned for the 4th quarter (Sunday), that will be your winner. As they say, the Masters doesn't really start until the back nine comes into play with the leaders dueling it out on Sunday.

Not rooting for Tiger. Can’t stand the non-stop reach-around and slurping that the media does with him. And please stop with the drama every time you miss a putt.

The media simply does whatever will give them the best ratings. Tiger moves the needle on golf. Ratings drop when Tiger isn't in contention. This isn't new or a mystery. You can't blame the media, you should be blaming the public who won't tune in when Tiger isn't a factor.

I’m also rooting for Tiger. Sure, he went through one hell of an a**hole phase, but he seems to have flipped the proverbial page and become a better person. He seems to actually enjoy life and treat people better now.

Hate to say it, but I rarely watch golf if Tiger isn’t in contention.

Edit: Seeing him laugh and smile on the course is also refreshing.

I've never been a fan of Tiger but golf will always be better when he is in contention.

I didn’t know you got to tee it up again without penalty if you hit the ball on a practice swing.

Is it similar to a player accidentally hitting the ball with his putter? I think in that case you are required to put the ball back where it was and take the penalty - you can't just count the mishit as a putt. So maybe this works that way too?

I may be wrong - but I don’t think there was a penalty - can someone clarify?

The ball is not considered in play until after the tee shot, and he wasn't in the process of hitting the ball on a tee shot. If he would have hit it on the fairway with a practice swing it would have been a penalty.

Anyone watching? Great moving day at Augusta. Setting up to be an awesome sunday. They're even moving up tee times and teeing off in threesomes to avoid the weather in the afternoon. Leaders tee off at 930E/830C. Set your alarms!

Was kind of pulling for Jason Day, but he just spit the bit with a double bogie.

The dego wins this going away. Has the best ball striking right now by far and has been money for the past year. Will have the advantage of playing of Finau instead of Tiger as well.

Molinari is damn good. I'm a Tiger fan, but even if Molinari wasn't in the lead he's the one who worries me most.

Good grief, the guy slipped. No one would have done anything.
There was zero reason for him to act like someone was coming at Tiger with a machete. He’s a jackass. You don’t think people around the world would despise that guy if he took Tiger out of the masters? Good grief is right.

any one of these guys are capable of putting up 64. FM is a machine, but I think Koepka
is the biggest threat to Tiger

After reading Tony Finau's story to get where he is, I'm an immediate fan. Hope he wins this thing.

The good thing for Tiger is he’s probably pretty used to threesomes, so he’ll be completely comfortable tomorrow
