Yikes. Take away Tango's posts and this isn't a football board. It's a collection of random posts.

Are we going to see some changes on offense and defense this week or are we going to stay the course?

Minnesota scares me because they will throw to their RB and TE. I'm praying that we participate on defense and go in thinking that we'll need at least 30 points on offense (and plan accordingly).

I'll be very surprised and happy if we win this game but I want to see some fight.

Hope we establish the pass early to open up some running lanes.

Need to mix it up, as our offense is too predictable.

Was watching ECU vs. FAU last night. ECU's head coach (the once vaunted flavor of the week Mike Houston), and the new head coach switched to the backup QB (MSU transfer Katin Houser), and they ran up 56 points against Temple last week and 49 last night. The new HC vowed to open up the offense and let it fly. He has. FAU is coached by the once vaunted Tom Herman (Houston, Texas), and man has he fallen from grace.

Hope the defense has healed up and they have figured out the right players to play.

I think most fans are mentally checked out and switched to basketball.
Not me. 4 games to go.

"Post nut reality" set-in as the gym brahs say.
The early season romance ha terminado.
Jets and Giants piled-on to boot

The main issue isn't the schemes, it's the health of the players. Unfortunately too many injuries to our front line players exposes our lack of depth at crucial positions.

I'm only going to the game because we invited friends to go to this one before the season even began. Would be ecstatic if we win, couldn't care if we lose.

Well we're setting up for another breakfast tailgate out in the Black Lot, so looking forward to that!

Hopefully, during the bye week, the defense learned to defend RBs catching the ball out of the backfield, and running up the middle.

Zero buzz. Student section will be the band and the few diehard chop squads.

Weather looks close to perfect, so I think 10-15 minutes after the opening kickoff it will be a larger turnout. Mid 3rd quarter, to be determined.

I'm surprised that there's not more concern about Kyle-- I'm not hearing encouraging info -- hearing IF he plays he's limited.

It's really hard to be optimistic after what we've seen over the last few games, but without Monangai we have no chance.

We incubated those, raised us some chickens, and now have fresh eggs for tomorrow!
We've had fresh eggs for over a decade now from our hens. In the winter when they slow down and have to buy store bought, they just look so sad when you crack them open. The texture and taste just doesn't add up as well.

The board has reached such a negative state that the odds of winning 1 or 2 more seems more likely.

A more exciting offensive game plan is always welcome.

I know nothing but assume he will be out due that hit in the USC game. Bonus if he’s back. I think we need to win by throwing deeper routes anyway.

As I said in the other thread, apathy has set in. That is just horrible for this program. We need some juice and it starts this week!

Season is a wash yet again. Schiano is a great con artist. Indiana Football just proving the point.
thank you. one of the very few who realizes the fraud is stealing salary for 10 years, and more once his next pet AD is hired and extends again after a 5 or 6 win season.

Always check the crowd with 10 minutes left in the second quarter. That is the point in the game when the most people are in their seats.

Latecomers have arrived and those who often leave at halftime have not left yet.

It was obvious to me that if he got hurt it was gonna be when he was getting one of those short passes out of the backfield and was perfectly vulnerable to a big hit from the defense. I was actually surprised that it didn't happen last season with GW, who seemed to have a knack for teeing up his receivers on that type of play.

True true true, BUT, what happened to the pipeline? By now that pipeline should be in place. Two deep should be better than this by now.
