Defense is slow on rotation and they could communicate better. As long as they don't settle for jump shots, they are going to be tough to beat. I predict a a top 5 gator team of all time.

LOL . They won't be anywhere near as good as the 2 championship teams or the one from 3-4 years ago. But when you have had only 4 great seasons it isn't hard to be a top 5 team of all time . But UF will be very good but they lack any really good players beyond Allen . One good game against Gardner Webb does not a great player make. I think the SEC race will be between A&M and UK with UF right there nipping at thier heels. A&M and UK just have alot more overall talent.

its chickenshit IMO. talk about mercenaries. And spare me Julius Mays.

I agree. I hate the rule.
But I don't make much distinction between that and kids who are sure-fire one-and-done.
Both rules have to go. But until they do... Cal and White are wise to be taking advantage.

I think Mike White is finally able to build a team with his type players. He is recruiting his guys, he might not shatter the recruiting ceiling, but it won't matter, he will win.

I believe there were a ton of people on this board who wanted Cam Johnson (grad transfer from Pittsburgh).

White may win but thus far his recruiting has been OK nothing special.
That's my point, he doesn't need to recruit like Cal or K or Self to compete with them. He recruits players, not rankings and builds a team...if he succeeds Cal at UK one day, fans will have to be disappointed in not winning recruiting National Championships, but he will win at UK with his type players.

michael white is going to milk the living dogshit out of the 5th year transfers. you watch it will be a staple for him.
Heard he was planning on bringing Perry Ellis in next season if he can get him cleared by the NCAA,they don't have protocol yet for getting people out of retirement homes

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I thought he recently had a top 10 class-- either 2017 or 2018. I could be wrong.
Maybe the swamp guy can tell us.
But White looks like the real deal to me.
We just signed a five star PG. His recruiting has definitely picked up. Offense is night and day better than Donovan's last year. He inherited a disaster of a team with a losing record and took us to the NIT year one, and Elite 8 year two. His recruiting has similarly improved.

Obviously now where near UK levels, but definitely solid.
