Colton Hartman (5.27 ERA in 13.2 innings) gets his 3rd start for the Cards. Great first inning: 2 Ks, 3up and 3 down in the too of the first. Also a great catch diving catch by Lucas Moore to rob NKU of a base hit.

Cards get 3 hits in a row and plate 2 runs in the bottom of the first.

Alex Alicea with a 3-run inside the park home run! Cards lead 5-0 with 1 out in the 2nd.

Rose with a “seeing eye” bloop double to drive in our 6th run and chase the Norse starter after 1.1 innings.

Great outing by Hartman. 4 innings, 1 run (gave up a homer), 0 walks and 7 Ks. Smart to pull him at this point, to hopefully be able to use him again on the weekend against UNC.

Cards lead 9-1 through 4.

First appearance for Eli Hoyt this year in relief of Hartman.
