But last week I heard how improved the Johnnies were.
Maybe FDU. We'll find out WednesdaySo ... Besides NJIT, Seton Hall, Monmouth and Princeton ... Anyone else in NJ better than RU?
Engles is a good college coachand this was a program that was 0 fer for a long time....in the past 2 years they have wins at SJU and Michigan. Don't let anyone fool you that you cant coach your way out of an abyss
There is a faction of media members enamored with Chris Mullin....Mullin has unlimited funds and support from their high paying alumni, capable of getting most top 100 recruits in their wheelhouse. At some point, over the last 15 years, you would think they would make a decent coaching hire, the jury is still out on what's missing right now.
On the other hand, SJU didn't have a talent issue under Lavin, they had a scheme and lack of defense they didn't play most nights.....Cuse is not the same without some typical pieces they usually have and may be having an off year. SJU will probably be better next year, assuming their recruits eventually get eligible.
I don't have a clue on what Mullin is trying to run on offense and they don't play good defense.....not as porous as RU most nights, but not much better.
So ... Besides NJIT, Seton Hall, Monmouth and Princeton ... Anyone else in NJ better than RU?
what a sad state of affairs over there as well.
