The Ledger is advertising a watch party for Saturday's game and said that it is sold out. I am not in favor of pulling their press credentials, as proposed in another thread. First Amendment.

But, I would question a Rutgers fan who joins in this function. Real contrast to today's editorial page cartoon.
Similar feelings to not supporting Murdock's Somerville restaurant.

Why are they advertising something that's already sold out? Could just imagine what that party would be like... Manahan stuffing his face with nachos, Duggan whining about lack of press access, and Politi sitting in the corner by himself tweeting witty remarks the whole time.

Nothing sounds worse than watching a Rutgers game with those morons. I'd rather just check the box score.

I completely agree that Politi is this biggest pimple on the biggest hot stinky *** but some of you go overboard.
Recently, it is Rutgers making news not the SL making ship up.
I always defended TL and got killed for it. Now he is a part of RU and you all love him.
Personally he has always been a great guy.
Now we have clowns requesting stink bombs be thrown. When did Rutgers fans agree to act like Philly Eagles fans.

Sorry, but no. The SL called for the coach to be fired for something no coach gets fired for. That's not reporting the news, that's trying to influence the news. It's petty, it's wrong and people should boycott Politi, Duggan and Mahanan.

I never had a problem with Lucci. He was fair - when we sucked, he said we sucked. When we did well, he said we did well. The only people that hated Lucci were people who think the press should never say anything bad about the team, but that's ridiculous. Todderick is also great.

But Politi, Duggan and Manahan clearly have an anti-RU football agenda and are using the SL to accomplish it.
