Penn State going to beat Marquette unless they collapse. Never thought when Marquette was on bubble ahead of Penn State that they were better.

Howland is building a powerhouse at Mississippi State. Winning at Louisville by 20.

Most of the team returns next year and two top 50 freshmen will be joining them .

Howland and Jamie Dixon were both successful, and both left Pitt. Granted that Dixon was there for quite a while. Wonder if that makes anyone gun shy?

Coaches are super competitive people. Some might not want to follow someone that is considered a "legend" at a school. That is if they are coming from outside of the program. That is not an issue at Pitt or UConn at this point.

For example, Florida fans HATED the Mike White hire but White didn't shy away from following Billy Donovan. In fact he embraced Donovan's legacy. One elite 8, visible player development and an incoming McDonald's All-American later and most Florida fans are off of the ledge about the White hire. Although, some fans are illogically upset about it.

WKU beats OK State convincingly. One of those mid majors that are "weak bubble teams" that didn't even get a chance. What a joke. Go quadrants! Not!

PSU winning without Watkins. A P5 team that got hosed. Who knew of such a thing?

Didn't do enough---------not enough quality wins.

Lost to Rider-----a bad look----if Carr returns they'll be ranked next year pre season.

Granted but the eye test, Marquette is not better and Lunardi had them last 4 out. Don't buy it.

Ridiculous. Ratings and quadrants are a farce. Rider was actually regular season champs. Not an awful loss. If Carr comes back possible Sweet 16 team.

The Big East has 2 very good teams. I think if the rest of that conference was in the Big 10 maybe one of them would have a winning record in conference.

So much for home court over neutral site games. All of the home teams lost in the quarterfinals.

I can't see that that------NYC kids gravitate more to the BE and the ACC.

Beyond that------NYC HS Hoops is slipping because many of the better players aren't there anymore.

They're in Prep Schools all over the country
