No, you have to give credit where it is due. Arkansas doesn't suck at home. On the road, they've been inconsistent but at home they were 14-1 coming into last night's game and were beating opponents by better than double digits on average. UK was a 5-pt underdog. This was a good win. If you can't admit that, you lose all credibility.

Nope, not mad at all. Quite happy actually. I thought this team was heading down the tank in the total wrong direction. They righted the ship, fixed some things and seem to be moving way up now. Maybe it's freshmen figuring it out, maybe it's Cal making changes, maybe it was just a bad stretch. Nonetheless, they have 3 big games left and need to win 2 at least to set themselves up in the SEC/NCAA seeding.
All I know is these guys can't get to a KB fast enough after a loss.

Arkansas is a good win for this team. To get better you have to beat the teams in front of you. This team could have folded and has chosen not to. Big step.
As for the other argument, the pumpers disappear when we lose. They claim "board negativity" as the reason, when in fact it's just because they've been wrong and don't want to deal with their past comments. Arrogance is thick with this bunch.
The board realist just call what's happening in time, they don't care about a thread being pulled up and thrown into their face a few weeks from now. Sometimes it's funny, because all that they were really saying, is exactly what Cal ends up doing and they were actually right. lol. Those are my favorite times.

Felt like a vocal minority of this board were absolutely miserable for the first 38 games of the 2014-2015 season, until UK lost and they could finally say "I told you so."

I don't think there are many people who suddenly think our guys are world beaters for beating Alabama & Arkansas. With this team's ups and downs I wouldn't be shocked if they lost their next game. Some fans are just of the mindset that when this team is playing well they have the potential to hang with or maybe even beat anyone in the country. Hopefully they can achieve that potential and make a run before it's all said and done.
Also while I don't think anyone realistic is claiming that "Arkansas is great" or even that good, but it's still a pretty good win over a decent team who had went 14-1 at home prior to last night's game. And with a young team that's struggled as much as ours, I chalk that up as a nice win in my book.

BBN is great, but "that" segment of the fanbase is truly bizarre.
Calling 2014 a "miracle run by a bad team" is also a pretty bad take. Hardly anyone was expecting the run to the National Championship game at the end of season after the struggle's and late season skid that team had, that's true, but they were hardly a "bad team" even at that point. Disappointing and mediocre up to the NCAA Tournament, sure, but hardly bad.

Lol, sure it was a reverse jinx. Some of these guys think if you don't go 39-1 or 10-2 in FB the team and coaches should be trashed and they are realists while fans who support the team are "sunshine pumpers" Just crazy
I will tell you this. Even if I thought the season was heading down the toilet, I'd never bash people over the head with it and, even if I did predict it, I wouldn't gloat about it when it happened. I will never understand how a true fan could gloat over being right they predicted the team's demise. "Realism" sometimes equals pessimism.
