I wonder how much Sims got from Amigos, and if the person responsible for that deal is still employed with them.
Amigos is just supporting the Huskers and the starting qb is as good as anyone. I don't fault them. Who else should they have picked before the season?

They should be applauded as much as the grandpa that donated to the collective that paid Sims despite him not working out. Sometimes things don’t work out despite great effort and intent.

Yes for those of us who can’t get Amigos in our area, enjoy. I remember when that meal cost $4.99…now get off my lawn.
I remember Cinco Days when it was 5 soft tacos for $5 on the fifth of the month. Then it transformed into $5 off of 5 soft tacos and I was done, couldn't do it anymore... also now get off my lawn.
As crazy as it sounds this probably true. Likely not as significant as Simms having a great season at NU, but at the same time, train wrecks draw eyeballs…
I’d like to egg roll king and taco inn get in the NIL game, I kept those places in business 15 years ago.
Linas Mexican Restaurant every Tuesday has 5 tacos for $5.95 and they are some of the best damn tacos I've had. (I'm ready to hear why I'm wrong and an idiot)

I mean Justin Fields and Adrian Martinez were in the same grade as him. Justin is in year 3 in the NFL.
When Casey was a SR in HS, Mike Riley was our HC. Time to just move on. If he was any good he’d be on at least an NFL practice squad by now
And if he’s back, what’s that saying about this coaching staff? That they don’t have an answer or that they are just throwing darts blind hoping something will work. This is the same QB they wanted to replace last season… his tape @ FAU really impressing them that much?

I don't know if staff "wanted to replace " Thompson but they did want to bring in another qb at some point. Casey had surgery and there was no guarantee he was going to be ready. I honestly think way less people would be talking about Amigos or his deal with them if he had a great season. Unless they kept doing appearances or other ads to drive the attention, but I never saw anything outside of before the season started.
