NIL and how it changes the on-field product

I have seen several tweets/posts/comments etc from fans about how the NIL stuff is making them less interested in college football. From my perspective it certainly is changing things but I fail to see how it will make much of a difference on Saturdays in the fall as far as the enjoyment of games. Players are getting paid? It's going corporate? All the best players will get funneled to certain schools? The players aren't loyal to the school the way that we are as fans? These things have been true for decades.
