This are heating up big time. The battle grounds....grass roots basketball. Meyer a few weeks ago tweeted how never before have shoe companies held such influence over recruits. Nike is Nike...but Under Armour is going through the roof. Creating an NBA/AAU all star game event...in the Bahamas....whats next? This is going in a certain direction fast.

Kevin Plank has said for a while that he was going after Nike on all fronts. He is very aggressive, and much more so than Phil Knight at this point in their careers. But Nike is still the big dog on the foot wear side of things. Under Armour is however making great strides and has a vast international market that is basically untapped for them.

If you are looking to invest.....I'd throw in with Under Armour simply because they have much more to gain on the shoe side etc.... But Nike is still a strong play. Adidas is garbage. Look for most of the non Nike schools to go with Under Armour over the next few years.
