Nike isn't doing too good

Adidas 4 Life

The staggering decline is fueling fresh criticism of the company and its past controversies, including Nike’s 2019 decision to pull a planned Betsy Ross flag sneaker after Colin Kaepernick raised concerns over the design. Sen. Ted Cruz is now taking aim at the brand, pointing back to his own Nike boycott and declaring: “#GoWokeGoBroke.”

I really couldn't care less about the woke stuff. I just hate the way Nike products fit, whether it's shoes or apparel.
Under Armour shirts fit the best. Husker Adidas are my favorite for shoes.Socks, shorts, workout pants. Foock Nike. Phil Knight, Kaepernick and Oregon.

Nike Air Monarch >>> any other shoe

Could care less about these companies being "woke". The fact they go "woke" only when they think it'll increase revenue actually makes it funnier cuz they're preying on retards.

Agree. One of my daughters college coach said she despised Nike for fit and quality issues. This was 10 years ago. I thought they were the gold standard. Now that particular daughter is past her coaching years and into admin and AD at a small ks high school. Guess what. She says the same thing holds true today. Better brands out there

I've never understood clothing brand fanaticism... Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Under Armor, etc... As a whole, it Just doesn't make sense to me... I may like one brands shoe for a specific purpose but that doesn't carry over to having my whole wardrobe linked around it.

Yeah our athletic program used to be "sponsored" by Nike, though I'm not actually sure what we ever got out of the deal, but we had to wear Nike while coaching games and all the extra stuff that was ordered for us was Nike. Anyways, I have way too much Nike crap that just sits in the closet and I either wear old stuff from before the "sponsorship" or very recent stuff.

I have refused to buy anything with a swoosh on it for 30 years. Glad to see I am finally having an impact. ;)

My boycott wasn’t motivated by anything other than I thought their market share was too much, and I wanted to support the other guys.

Their apparel looks better than Adidas by a mile.

That doesn't mean I like the company, the CEO, the stock or the financials.

I need to see a compelling reason as to why it will rebound. Can it do a 25% jump in the next year? I don’t know. The competition in sportswear is steep.
Their shoes are crappy and their embrace of Kaep and BLM is probably the end of their reign. I don’t see another Michael Jordan figure out there to promote their brand. MJ made them billions.

I dreaded the time when new uniforms were scheduled for HS sports teams. Back in the day, it had to have the swoosh on it, that was cool. I worked with several suppliers who could show me the exact same uniform, same material, same color, everything without the swoosh and it was half as much. Kids, at least then, were into the brand name stuff. Then came Jordan, glad I got out when I did.

Exactly Nike doesn’t have some magical clothing manufacturer hidden somewhere. As you say they just put the swoosh on it it’s no different in material then a pair of running shorts or Tee shirts you buy at Walmart.

I bought a pair on your recommendation. I will let you know if you owe me money. They are very comfortable.

The giant HOKA on the sides of those things are enough to have me stay away. OnClouds amd Asics are solid though ....Adidas peaked in the 80s with Run DMC
