It just came out Nikes attorneys called Avanatti back after his proposal and made sure it was recorded. Based on that alone, he must not have had anything significant at all.

He’s an idiot but I’m really curious what his client , the AAU guy in California has on Nike.
Who in the world really thought they could get away with that?

I don't know much about anything, but I'm smart enough to know Nike would have a good legal team and wouldn't be easy to extort them like this. I mean, this is monumentally dumb.

It's very hard to buy into this because Avenatti is sort of a professional liar as well as cataclysmically in debt, so at that point you have to believe the AAU guy...which isn't a profession known for honesty and integrity.
You have to unwrap so many layers of deception in this. It's sort of like somebody in the mob proclaiming they have news of a scandal. It's all cloaked in ick.
Just remember the 90's with Jose Canseco and Steroids... everyone crushed his character but it was a dirty player exposing other dirty players.. this AAU guy could be the same.
Now granted anything he would say has to be taken with a grain of salt......... but I think many people are still interested in what he might have on Nike.
Also I have confidence we'd escape it...... because Cal and Nike have not been so friendly the last few years due to the whole PK 80 fiasco... I fully expect Arizona, Oregon, UNC, Duke and probably Tenn to all be nailed... probably even Gonzaga since word has been going around that Nike is sending foreign players to Gonzaga for years.

Not sure how you can derive that by Nike helping. Obviously, they helped or the Feds would not have known about it, but he must have something on Nike. You don't just call and shake down a corporation for $20 million unless you have something to show them why they need to come up with the cash. Nike probably figured that he is going to spill the beans anyway, so why not take him down?
