So, this is his 3rd transfer. So much for the portal being a 1-time deal for players. There's another kid who transferred to I think Louisville after last season, didn't win the starting QB job in the spring, and then transferred again a month or so ago. This is getting out of hand quick.

No it's not. Your takes are just flat out bad at times. He went through the previous process except the ECU to Ole Miss deal. For this next one, he's headed FCS, that's the only way he'll be immediately eligible. So who cares.

He would’ve played for us day one in my opinion, overrated or not. He had legit speed, and very good instincts. Kid was a baller and loved to hit.

he announced his transfer only 3 days after getting to Louisville ..... I think he left Nebraska to Louisville and then went on to Rice .... trending downward

And if they are any good, they could play at ECU or Ole Miss. Knott just wasn't D1 material.

Not sure why this is getting down voted so much, haha. It’s the clear and obvious truth. Several people who are really good at predicting these things, at both MSU and OM, predicted that he might not actually be a good football player. Just a freak athlete. He didn’t like contact and was under-sized. I was shocked Alabama signed him. I’m guessing they did it based on his athletic traits and hoped they could turn him into a player or at least a good returner.

Him walking on at Ole Miss should have been a sign that he just wasn’t that good. I know people get enamored with those 4 stars beside his recruiting profile, but there’s no way in hell he could have impacted y’all’s defense next year, outside of a rash of injuries. And if you’re in that case, the help he’d have provided wasn’t going to be very helpful anyways.
