Nigel is on the court for Virginia on CBS Sports a Network vs. VCU

Early on Virginia up 12, Nigel had a steal and beat two men for a layup.

In UVA's 1st 3 games (including today), Nigel has been coming off the bench and averaging quite a few minutes less per game than he did for RU. It will be interesting to see if and how that changes.

His minutes will be limited because he can't defend like Bennett wants his players to defend. Hope he does well, though. I love the way UVA plays.

Nigel played well last year. Hit some big shots and played good on ball defense. My only concerns were some court awareness issues on Team Defense and he was not a great finisher when he drove to the basket.

I have no idea about locker room or team chemistry issues.

He's from MD and I believe played for an AAU team in VA.

Aside from that, you could do a lot worse than Nigel in a stop gap guard.

I think the biggest reason he went there was to experienced the NCAA tournament. Probably a long shot still for Rutgers. Why UVA tske him low risk, guy who either helps you for one year or doesn't.

His transfer still bothers me. Not sure why, but bugs me. I hope Foreman and other transfer find success. Not the same for Nigel. Might be a nice guy, but hope he doesn't get too much success in UVA. Probably just my sour grapes

If the team was fine with him leaving, so am I.
