Pretty much stated what we all think.

Allen is a douchebag punk who is gonna end up being on the wrong end of a fist to the face if he pulls that sheet at the next level .
Too bad he couldn't have played against Rasheed Wallace or Metra World Peace.

Agree with him on Grayson Allen but other than that, Nick Wright is terrible.

My thoughts exactly on Grayson Allen. I would never buy any fake redemption story about that dude. Bash me if you want, but I did have some respect for Coach K until he handled Grayson's behavior so poorly. That kid would have been dismissed from my team. Period. You can have passion and fight in you without being such a cheating prick. If you really are that good, you don't have to resort to that ****. Good riddance. I hope I never have to watch him again.

Sounds like he nailed it. I'll admit he's not the first Duke player I couldn't stand to watch, but he's probably the first one I disliked because of his dirty play more than the fact he was so good and so difficult to beat. For example, I disliked Laettner because of the shot but mostly because all he did was win. I disliked Wojo because he just kept winning. I disliked Redick because he always made the big shot and I thought he'd never leave. But with Allen, he's the most entitled punk in Duke history and a guy who was decent but not against top competition. The hate for him isn't because he would beat you or that you wish he would leave, but because he's a punk who played dirty and pitched infantile fits about getting caught. Glad he's gone. I think I'll love watching him attempting to pull that crap in the NBA when he's not being protected by K, Duke, ESPN, and the NCAA. First time he tries that crap, he's gonna get a dose of some strong medicine, likely from his own teammates.

Thing is, though, he may not be good enough to make an NBA roster. We may never get the chance to see him put in his place.

I agree totally with what he said and Allen deserves every bit of what was said. However he supposedly plays for the greatest coach of all time so its strange to see how he could let that happen in his watch !! He is a leader and a molder of young men right ?

I'm a basketball junkie so by definition I don't watch Duke games. That's not basketball, its kinda like watching gay porn to me. I've seen two games of theirs last two seasons, the South Carolina game and the Kansas game. But how could you sympathize with this....only Booby Knight or K could approve this and play this ***** kid.....

Well said. For me, Allen is my #1 most hated Dukie. Even before Laettner. I can’t stand Allen because of who he is, not just who he plays for, although it’s compounded by that. If he were at any other school, he’d have been portrayed as a our evil villain but being at Duke, after a couple of Espn segments it’s forg about and he’s reformed.

Not a nick wright fan at all.

But this is why I listen to everyone openly. No one is ever 100% wrong .

Nice to see different perspective .

I think it's safe to say that Nick Wright won't be getting any job offers from ESPN any time soon. :joy:

I'm glad someone came out against Allen. It only took 3 years for someone on TV to say something.

I completely agree. But what I don't agree with is all of the people in sports talk are paid tons of money to be a-holes. Skip, Stephen A, Colin Cowherd, etc. Those guys are complete a-holes and are paid a lot of money for that. And the reason they are so watched is because people love reacting to their crazy opinions. This guy seems like an up and coming a-hole.

I can be the biggest a-hole too, where is my paycheck?

Is that too many a-holes?

I don't need a paycheck to be an *******. Some things just come naturally. [laughing]
