Right....I’m sure we benched a starter and 4* player for the rest of the season from mid-February on because he failed a standardized test or a class. Get real.
D1 athletes in revenue sports get their hands held more than any student, anywhere, at any level of education (including K-12). Private athetic department tutors, GA’s making sure they go to class, mandatory study halls, etc. They also get shoved into easy as hell majors where you can get a 2.5 GPA just from practically showing up every day. Anyone that has all those advantages and still feels compelled to brazenly cheat on their academics is a moron, and a ****** teammate to boot. I hope Nick isn’t either one, but he wouldn’t be the first at MSU and won’t be the last either if he is.
