Since he's wrapping it up, I want to thank Saban one last time for allowing us to score one touchdown in Beaver Stadium when we played our home and away against Bama. That was classy.

Saban should thank Joe for ok’ing rescheduling Bama game so we did not embarrass them.

FWIW: Saban wasn't the Bama coach at the time those games were rescheduled. That was somewhere in the Shula time period - before Saban.
They were moved from 2004-2005 (PSU would have had a tough time w Bama in 2004 anyway) and PSU filled in those dates with two payday games. The games went back on the schedule in 2010-11 (by which time Saban was the coach)

I do want to thank Coach Saban for announcing his retirement jusssssttttt.....after....Michigan wins the NC. All the hoopla and media focus that would have been on Michigan.......is now somewhere else.

Would have been messy in 2004 I think; 2005 would have been pretty even. We finished No. 3 that year, Bama No. 8. Likely split series.
