I completely agree. When an unremarkable professional career has ended, no one will remember what you did as the eighth man on an above average Utah Jazz team. I get the money. But when all is said and done, I think their time at Kentucky will in most cases be remembered as the best time in their basketball lives.
I am okay with your opinion that those are the better players. However, I do not agree with your degree of hyperbole. In this response you said Maxey wasn't nearly as productive. in the previous quote you said, "Nick and Quickley were the two best players on the team by far.
While an argument can be made that Nick and Quick were the two best players it would be hard to say that Maxey was not nearly as productive or that Nick and Quick were by far the two best.
Quickley was SEC POTY and first team All-SEC.

For example, how many guards during the Calipari Era had a higher true shooting% with a usage greater than 20%? The answers are Booker and Lamb. That's it. That's the list. Quickley was one of the best shooters we've had during the Calipari Era.
