He's been coming out all season, he just had two bad games in Vegas. He will likely have a couple more bad ones before seasons end, but he is 100× better than he was his last 2 years.
you are right but he has disappeared in some big games this year Remember the 2 points 0 rebound game

I wasn't sure I would ever say this but if Nick fouls out we don't win this game. He came up big in crunch time which he has never done before. He took 2 charges with 4 fouls. Moved his feet and played with great energy all night. Then scores 7 huge points in OT when we were down 3 with 2:23 to go. Big time game for the big guy. Hope this gives him confidence that he can do it against anybody. We're a different team if he plays like that.

All forgiven for at least 48 hours. Dude whipped it out today and balled. Earned the right to where that jersey for awhile.

Nick Richards... “You’ve come a long way Baby” like the old commercial said. He has improved every year, especially since last year. IMO the key was learning to play without getting in foul trouble. Kenny Payne has really helped him with his inside game and footwork. Also, his hands are a lot better; I remember he had trouble dunking the ball his first year... I love seeing players return and develop, just like in the old days.

He was a difference maker the last 5 minutes of regulation and in OT. Very good on the boards early in the game and great job getting in defensive position in the 2nd half drawing 2-3 charges all while being in foul trouble. Hats off to you NR, great game in when sorely needed.

Dude has been through so much in three years here and today he LAID HIS *** ON THE LINE in the most important regular season game of the year.

Hats off Big Fella!
Play that hard every game and we can be a lot better. Really proud of how hard he played. Two foul calls on him that shouldn't have been and his contribution could have been even bigger!

LOVED his heart and effort today. Aside from muscle, hustle, discipline, etc., dude stepped up and nailed 3 FT under huge pressure. If he wasn't at UK, the story would be his Jr. year development, not that it's taken this long. You be you, NR...great game and thank you!

Nick played great today. When he plays like this, we are a championship level team. The refs kind of screwed him against OSU. I thought they were going to do it again today (actually they did a little), but he played big and smart with 4 fouls on him.

Good example of Cal showing his confidence in Nick eventually turning the corner last year.
