You can say that again. The Eagles have been so blessed to have him as a backup QB. The reigning super bowl MVP. So humble, yet so effective. Plays with ice in his veins.

F&@k foles, he cost me a FFL title. My opponent usually starts Can Newton and picked Foles up game day.

I haven't played fantasy in over 10 years but its legal to pick up players before the final? Do the rosters ever lock ?

I think Wentz is the better QB. Wentz (probably) hurt his back in October and his play on the field showed it as he seemed to get worse as each week passed. Wentz had a bad year. No doubt about that. Foles is playing great right now, but he struggled early in the year when Wentz had not yet been cleared to play.

I've heard it said that Foles is a "system quarterback". He's OK within the Andy Reid offensive system, but other teams are wary of paying top dollar to bring him to their teams. Kinda like Case Keenum playing well for the Vikings so John Elway hoped he could get the same kinda play from Keenum in Denver. Foles was retiring before Andy Reid signed him as a backup in KC.

You can replace injured players on the waiver wire, but trades between teams usually stop at a trading deadline.

I got burned once by a trade deadline that was set too late in the season. Two weeks left in the season, a team that was out of the playoffs traded a star receiver for three below average players (he said he needed "depth"). That star WR and his new team beat me at the end of the season and later in the playoffs.

All Eagles fans know that Carson Wentz is the man, and that includes Nick Foles. Nick has been very vocal about that. Carson needs a full offseason of rest. He was not himself this year and the coaching staff realized it. They stopped all the RPOs and the rollouts because Carson couldn't do it, and that made him not Carson.

All that said, St. Nick showed Tom Brady who's the boss. And he just might, just might do it again.

Based on what. The Eagles are a far better team with Foles under center.
