I don't get the stuff against Dave that some of you are giving him in this thread. Not all of us keep up with every item of news such as what Zagoria in hearing. Just thank him for posting that news or move along if you already heard/saw it. No need to dig on someone just posting what they came across. Dave has been around here for a very long time and is a stand up guy in my opinion. Just saying.

Agree whole heartedly. There are some who are only happy here when running down others. I have been on this board for over 10 years and rarely post but I always enjoy Dave’s posts and rely on his insight when he offers it. It’s a shame some people are so unhappy with themselves they lash out at people who are sharing things they have heard. This stuff is fluid it doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

Some act like we will be amazing next season but I just don't see us winning the championship without adding a huge piece and I don't mean Matt Haarms

Some of our optimistic fans still haven't learned. We can't depend on all our unpolished guys (Askew, Jackson, Ware, Fletcher, Allen) meeting their ceiling next year as first year players. Maybe one or two of them will, but we've seen so many guys from the same category of second or third tier players simply not exceed realistic expectations in year one. For every one Gilgeous-Alexander who does exceed those expectations, there are five Marcus Lees or Wenyen Gabriels who don't.

We'll have two studs in Clarke and Boston and one guy projected to make a pretty good leap in Brooks.

We need more. Kuminga changes everything if we get him.

goodbye and good luck
I’ve read your posts for years and have really enjoyed your involvement here.
F these tough they are nothing but a bunch of keyboard pussies that know everything but in reality don’t know ****.

My late father gave me a great line and put things in perspective for me.
It would drive me crazy with so many of these arm chair clowns that know it all.
My Dad said “ don’t listen to these blowhards the only thing they played after school was with themselves” that’s the approach I take Dave, like I said fm man bunch of keyboard pussies.

Richards is gone. You don’t need insider info to know this. He will graduate in May, along with his girlfriend. His stock is as high as it is going to get. Why would he stay? Absolutely no reason to stay.

Just hoping we get Haarms to provide some size inside. We need a big man with Richards and Montgomery(most likely) leaving.

I am excited to see Clarke and Boston. I think they are going to be an outstanding combo on the wings.

I am excited about Brooks at the 4. I think he is going to really step up next season.

With Haarms, I think the inside game will be fine. Haarms will be solid and Jackson and Ware have lots of potential.

I am concerned about the PG spot, though. I don’t think Askew is ready and Mintz is more of a backup.

I am expecting a Sweet Sixteen season. Anything more is bonus.

Of course a team can have 2 centers, but Haarms is a free agent. Why would he go to the one place with maybe the best returning center in the country?
To learn how to become ready for a long NBA career! ? It’s worked for a few other bigs before so! I mean I get it, but I could just as easily see him wanting to get better prepared for the NBA! There’s no better school in the world than Kentucky at doing just that. Maybe he’s one of the smart kids who looks to the long run in life instead of being the leading scorer on a team for one year in college! Who knows what they’re thinking though, but if Cal offered him, I guarantee he gave him a plan to make him more Money than he’d ever imagine he could make. Just my opinion of course! Thanks.

Start em both. EJ at the three. Might as well make the best rebounding team of all time since we can’t shoot for ****
[roll]

It would be amusing to see yet another PG in Cal's stellar offense system bring the ball up the court, dribble it until the shot clock runs out, grab the clanker and keep doing that over and over again. Most rebounds, fewest points. Commentators would be saying "we've never seen anything like it".

No, I don't really want that to happen, but a high scoring offense ain't happening, either lol

it's really silly the guys pounding on me for a post.I said Adam zagoria gave out that information.. anyway he's gone.

There are a bunch of idiots on here that are so miserable that they want to make everyone else that way. Put them on ignore and enjoy life.

I don't agree with people saying his stock is as high as it's going to get. He just recently added the mid range J to his game. Who's to say he can't solidify it his senior year and maybe knock down a few threes? His stroke is solid enough.
