And to say I'm pissed, and most of the fans I talked as I left for that matter, is an understatement. There is no sense in having Parker carry the ball that many times. Especially when we have 2 other really good backs in Griffin and Carruthers. "Phil" Pogue should have his *** kicked for that stunt. NWR was physically outmatched in the trenches, but he decides to give Big the ball 58 times. That's essentially 2 games worth of carries in one night. Big could barely move in the 4th quarter. Just terrible. Pogue is risking Big's career giving him that many carries. There's just no justification for it. I say aGAIN, "Phil" Pogue will cost us the Streak at some point by doing stupid stuff like tonight. And it could be at MC next week. Look up "doing less with more" in the dictionary, and you'll see 3 pictures: Fulmer, Polk, and Pogue.

When I hear those numbers last night, I thought the radio guys were mistaken. I don't believe I've heard of that many rushes by an RB unless maybe in a championship game that was his last game of the season.

...why, he could be running away from robbing a liquor store with fresh legs after a night like last night.

He hasn't lost a game yet. Or does SP have to win by 30 every game for it to count now? I don't have a dog in this fight, just think it is interesting that it sounds like you and others in Batesville might be growing tired of a coach who has yet to lose a game. I agree with you that you shouldn't give the ball to a 16 year old 58 times. What else has he done?

A coach I know once told.

They had a good RB and he was all they had. They were in a tight one in the 4th needing just one 1st down to ice the game. The good RB had carried it about 35 times, had ran back every kick off and played every snap on D. The coach looks up and here comes the RB walking toward the sideline. The coach meets him at the numbers and asks him what's wrong.

The RB says," Coach, I can't hardly walk." The coach shoves him back toward the huddle and says, " That's ok. We don't need you to to walk, we need your *** to run. Now get your dumbass back in there."
