And we have gone to a bowl game the last two years and won 7 games each year. I am not necessarily jumping for joy on the results so far . But if the talent is so terrible we aren’t getting anyone drafted how are winning the majority of our games? You guys can have it both ways. Matt Rhule sucks and has done less with more you say , but the draft says opposite.
We’ve gone to a bowl with a 6-6 and 7-5 record. Those 2 teams produced 3 draft picks. Those 3 draft picks were players already on the team when Rhule arrived. We aren’t winning the majority of our games. We are winning exactly half of them, evidenced by the 19-19 record.

Same guy lots of experts on this board said wasn’t good enough to be a starting TE at NU…
Well he's a walk on and other TEs had more stars assigned to their name back in high school by recruiting websites so obviously those higher ranked recruits are entitled to play ahead of him.

SEC sets a new record with 87 players picked

19 more than the B1G despite having 2 fewer programs

here’s the breakdown to show how much NIL has spread out the talent in that league and consolidated it in the B1G

@Huskers12345
With all that talent its hard to believe they haven't won the last 3 National titles.🤔 Now do the almighty Big 12.

Ok. As soon as you stop cucking for the SEC and Big 12.
54 of B1G’s 68 draftees came from 7 schools

2 B1G programs had zero players drafted

As usual, im explaining exactly what is happening and why the landscape has changed while you drool down the front of your packers crop top onto your grotesquely protruding gunt

Rhule’s first class was started late and was FULL of reaches. He also was recruiting with a staff with multiple assistants with zero recruiting relationships to a team with a bowl drought. I’m not surprised that he’s not having guys from that first class drafted. Logically that would be the expectation.

Going forward the 2028 draft class should be a measuring stick of his high school evaluations and development. He had a winning record and bowl game under his belt when he signed that class. I guess I really don’t care if we don’t get a bunch of guys drafted. Just win. 😒

Congrats to the SEC. Off-season champs, I guess. Off-season is a big deal in Nebraska these days so I hope they understand they are appreciated.

Rhule fan boys are going to make this the new thing...that Rhule recruits really well. While he is still playing Frost players.

These are the same fans that complained that Bo couldn't recruit.
Here's the thing. Its not whether Rhule can/can't recruit. Its whether he's better or worse than Frost.

How many Frost recruits were starters on last season's team?

Its so stupid to compare 5th year players to true freshman / sophomores. Of course you're going to have *some* Frost recruits starting. That doesnt mean Frost was a better recruiter.

Sure...but Rhule can also go out and sign juniors and seniors.

Frost was horrible. By last year (even that was late) there should not have been one Frost guy left on the team.

Has any new coach removed all players from previous regime by year 3?

Cignetti has been the gold standard. Did he have 0 Tom Allen players last season? Or coming up for this season?

You're right. Getting 2 extra years in recruits makes 0 difference.

You have to take the portal into account. But, okay, fine. You want to look at it that way, then let's compare class rankings...

Frost average class = 24
Rhule average class = 41

What's his excuse now?

I thought we were using the number of players drafted to determine who recruited better?

In 2 years, we should have that answer.

Your criteria is very selective. Whatever makes you feel better, I guess. I’ll keep living in reality and dealing with facts.
Read the title of the thread. That criteria has been what most have been talking about this entire time.

You may be the first one to bring up actual recruiting rankings. Maybe not. I dont care to go back and look, but most have used the draft as the criteria ITT.

Correct and you want to dismiss it because you claim Rhule doesn’t have any recruits old enough to judge it yet, while you conveniently ignore portal players. So I just gave you another set of data that in fact says the same thing, which is that Frost, so far, recruited better than Rhule.
