LOL you would make a perfect opposing coach. 'Pats don't seem so tough...it's 4th quarter...we're up by 10, we got this.'

They run a conservative offense in an effort to make the opponent settle in and feel comfortable at half time and beyond, and don't feel pressured to break out of it even if they are down 7 even 10 points. then switch everything in the 4th. they would rather be ahead, don't get me wrong, but they don't believe in playing a game of lead changes....if they are down the lead changes once....right at the end.

As always who knows if they will pull it off AGAIN today....but I suspect everyone watching this game is going....'here we go again'.
Try Occam's Razor. They have the best QB of all time, probably the best coach of all time, and even though the rest of their talent is not outstanding (save Gronk), they come back and win a lot. It ain't a game plan.

Good thing I don't bet on these games. If you would have told me one game would be competitive and the other a blowout I would have assumed NE/JAX the blowout and PHI/MN competitive.

Saints would have given the Eagles a much better game which isn't saying much. Too bad they lost on a fluke. Minny looked like a team that was happy to be there.

Al Golden would've predicted the exact final score of both games, no problem.

Well, OK. I was wondering how they manage to fool the other team every time. Now I guess I know.

I agree that they do it a lot. And since I can bet online in real time here in NZ, and since NZ punters always overreact to game events, I do really well betting on NE once they fall behind. I just don't think Belichick is saying, "OK, let's get behind. That's the best way to win."
