NFL Black Monday Thread....

Freddie Kitchens went down last night. Bruce Allen out in Washington. Sounds like Ron Rivera will get a chance to take that HC spot.

Others to keep an eye on:

Dallas / Jason Garrett
Cincy / Zac Taylor
Giants / Pat Shurmer
Jags / Doug Marrone

Always a surprise or two along the way too...

Matt rhule will most likely get an nfl job, which probably helps OM start 1-0 next season

Giants fire Pat Shurmur. I don’t think he gets another HC gig anytime soon.

I think Taylor is safe inherited a crap team he'll get at least one more year especially with Morrow coming. Anthony Lynn of San Diego might be gone also Matt Patricia of Detroit although he might get 1 more year.

Panthers already fired Rivera ... which I didn't like ... so I have no dog in the fight today.

I think that was a big mistake by panthers

Agreed. Rivera wasn't the problem.

Also, I've seen some mock drafts showing them taking the QB out of Oregon... which I don't know much about.

I think Cincinnati keeps their guy. Marrone is 50/50. Shurmur didn't make it past 9am this morning.

Jerry Jones, you're on the clock.

Agreed. Washington did two great things by firing Bruce Allen and hiring Ron Rivera. If they can hire a football guy to run the organization and keep Dan Snider from meddling, that's a franchise that can make a quick turnaround.

A team source said HC Jason Garrett’s contract expires on January 14th so it is possible that we may not hear any word until then. It would not be a firing it would simply be a decision to not renew
