They probably wouldn't have fired him if they didn't feel like they'd look bad if they didn't.

It'll be super interesting to see what Konkol and staff can get from Barnes, Gibson and Haggerty, guys who were highly regarded out of HS but didn't make a splash at their first schools. That could be a great recruiting channel if he can prove he can rehab them.
