Damn, you fooled me. I was certain this was going to be a thoughtful, balanced, optimistic and intelligent look at the players for next year.

What do you offer exactly? Doe eyed and inflated optimism (unwarranted).

You’re not nearly as smart or clever as you think you are man. At all.

But you’ll still be here, ragging on majority of the fan base next year when they’re upset (warranted) after going 17-13. “LoOk hoW muCh wE imProvEd froM 9-16 gUyS!

What’s this “we” stuff? It will be years before you watch a game again. Why would you give a crap?

Because he’s been a Kentucky basketball fan for decades? I’m sure you’re a fan in your own right dude but it’s abundantly clear you are a John Calipari FIRST fan and a Kentucky fan SECOND. Which, I mean, you do you but it’s awfully ironic to see you try and throw out some attempt at clout for being a “better fan”.

And you are a fire Cal first fan and a UK fan last.

You're both clowns. Supporting Cal is a logical thing to do unless you're upset because he calls hilljacks hilljacks or because he allows his players to express their first amendment rights

Here we go again with the Cal vs UK fan...lol, dumbest thing you're leader has ever taught you.

If there is such a thing or person, I've never met them....they would have to be no older than 21 I'd guess.

IMO, there are two types of UK fans

1. Fans that are UK fans, these fans will support the program no matter what, they put their trust in coach and will support that coach, till the coach leaves

2. Then you have UK basketball fans. Fans that have followed the team for 20,30,40 years or more, who enjoy watching good UK basketball and want to see the program maintained at the highest level. These fans don’t give a crap about the NBA or political ideas, they just want good basketball. Once these fans see the program going the wrong way they want change, ie. with Tubby, BCG and now Cal.

Show me where I have EVER stated I want Cal fired. You can't, see all your ilk does is run around throwing out false accusations, and never back them up. Come on BIG man, show me what you got. Put up or shutup time.

Come on my friend. You literally bump the thread about wanting Cal outta here multiple times per day.

This is the layup of all layup's. It is fine if you want Cal out. To each their own. It isn't happening though...at least not this year. We should all hope he turns it around so we are good again and not the sh*t show from last season.

"And yet you support the coach and the players for kneeling and disrespecting the flag and our military.

I posted on here right after they kneeled that I would not watch another game they played and I wanted them all gone, players and coaches.

Enlighten us on what your thought was on the kneeling. You blindly support the program, right? Then you support the kneeling."

Have a question for you KyFannin, do you actually like in enjoy Kentucky basketball?
I sure as hell did. I use to bite my nails, sit on the edge of my seat, get so wound up, would have a hard time falling asleep, recorded every game if not able to watch live. Lived and died with every bad mistake. The OAD after 5 years of it took all that away. The revolving door of players, all the transfers, crappy basketball being played, no offensive scheme, refusing to change the defenses as needed. Calipari did all this. He took away my enjoyment. Up till this year, I only harped on the OAD, after the political BS, Cal talking down to the fans. I was completely, 100% done with John Calipari.

Now a question for you. Do you enjoy watching the yearly struggles (sometimes losing) against mediocre teams in Rupp, no home and home with other blueblood programs, the constant player revolving door? Do you really enjoy that?

So, you took a huge leap from wanting Cal gone, to me saying I wanted Cal fired, now didnt you. Doing this ****, takes away any credibility you may have had.

Why are you quoting something from me to Kybassfan, asking him to clarify his posts? What purpose are you trying to serve with that?>

Abundantly clear? I’ve said it like a million times I’m not a Cal fan I’m a UK fan you ding dong. I want this plane to get to its destination and Cal is the pilot so you damn right I’m pulling for him.

now, unlike some of you I’m not into politics. I don’t give 3 ***** about it. So Cal and the players didn’t kneel on my heart like he did some of you. College basketball is entertainment for me and nothing else. I don’t need them to believe like I believe and I don’t need them to be role models for my kids.

this season sucked balls but a lot of you act like we have sucked for like 10 years straight or something. Drama queens. We were 25-6 last year. Grow a pair and stop crying into your pillow

What the hell is the difference between wanting someone gone and wanting them fired? Please explain.

Last year is over. Obviously Cal wasn't going to be fired. I'm willing to wait and see how next year turns out. If it's anything like the way last year was I'll be leading the campaign. There is a chance that this transfer stuff works. Baylor and Gonzaga do fine with it.

Surely you are NOT THIS dense? But, maybe you are. He can't be fired with that insane contract, wanting that is out of the question. BUT, if enough fans stop supporting, and keep up the pressure, Cal will leave on his own. I will continue to beat this drum till Cal is gone.

Granted, but I have seen nothing from Cal the past 10 years that he will actually design sets and plays, recruit, and retain shooters, willing to change up defenses during the game, stop focusing on draft night and put UK over "players program". IMO, every year he stays here, is one longer longer it will take for UK basketball to return.

So, next year record for you to give him another year would be?

UK needs to have 30 plus wins. Or be in that ballpark.

This is gaslighting if I’ve ever seen it. Everyone posting on this board, particularly now in the off-season is a “UK basketball fan.” Wanting to change a coach does not make you a bigger or more informed fan. Many people like me don’t believe it’s a beneficial long-term strategy to get rid of Cal. Many UK fans view things through on optimistic lens, and being bearish or having a pessimistic outlook doesn’t somehow make you more enlightened. Additionally, I’m completely lost on how choosing to continue following UK players once they get to the NBA somehow makes someone a lesser fan. Lastly, I’ve never seen Cal directly talk politics. I assume you’re referencing the kneeling/BLM support. Most rational fans would agree that Cal supporting BLM is a positive recruiting strategy and that it’s you (self-proclaimed) “UK basketball fans” that actually hurt the program by demonstrating that the fan base doesn’t support a movement that is of the highest interest to black youths.

So how is the BLM support working for his recruiting? How is the kneeling helping with recruiting? All that was accomplished was pissing off half, or more of the fan base.

“Help” recruiting, doubtful because essentially all other programs also support BLM. This is a case where not supporting the cause would have had a debilitating result for the program. We can’t go from the program being hyped by Drake to the program being perceived as shaming black culture.

Black players at UK are almost worshipped. How is that shaming black culture? If recruiting hurtsus to the point we dont get any more Boston’s and Clarke’s, how can that be a bad thing?

Ok, so you don't want him here either way. That is what I thought. Same difference, you are just splitting hairs. If donors came thru with the buyout, you'd want him fired...

It’s not about whether they are or aren’t shaming black culture. Perception is all that matters. Kentucky historically and culturally has to walk that fine line anyways. And if you think that Cal did that without thinking about the implications you’re crazy. Say what you want about Cal, there’s no debating that his actions are always aimed at a recruiting advantage.

I don't care how he leaves. I was responding to a lie,and you doubled down on that lie. I have never posted I wanted Cal fired, because it can't be done at this point. But, yes, i want him gone ASAP. I have not made a secret of that, but when lies get told about what I say, expect blowback, so don't get your panties in a wad, when I come back at you.

Again, I ask, how is that working out? He is now in the transfer trying to fill holes, because he can not get the recruits any longer. The only line UK has to walk about race relations is due to a lie and false narrative that come from 1966. UK, an all white team, beat Duke,an all white team, in the semis, then lost to an all black team, would Duke have suffered the same lie and false narrative had they beat UK, and lost to Texas Western? I say not, because Rupp was hated by the media, and they took advantage and spread lies.
