A little early with some wrestlers still in the portal(think though most all impact portal guys have signed).

125-Peterson
133-Shawver
141-Olivieri-thought he might redshirt, but not sure anyone ready to fill in his spot
149-Butler
Here is where it will get interesting
157-Clark-or does he redshirt? White or if Clark does not redshirt, does White go 165?
165-If not White, it should be Gayer or O'Neill. I am sure still looking at Portal also
174-Turley
184-Soldano
197-Poz

I’ve heard from people in the know that Clark plans to redshirt. White can go 157 but I don’t think it’s out of the realm of possibility that Desantis wins the job.

165 is a mess again unless we can find something in the portal. I’m tired of watching Kannaird and Oneill there so hopefully Gayer is ready to go.

Yea was hoping 165 was addressed in the portal. I think Kannaird graduated and is moving on from wrestling.

Honest question. Why has 165 been a complete black hole for years now? Like when was the last time we legit had a decent 165 lber on the roster? Richie Lewis? That's ancient history now. There has to be someone...anyone...in the portal that the team can plug in as a 165 lber that isn't complete cannon fodder vs anyone worth a pulse.

Give me Gayer. I'm sick of O'Neill being nothing but a guaranteed loss to anyone above mid major level if Kannaird has graduated and decided to retire from D1 wrestling.

It’s a bad excuse but it was probably the hardest weight to recruit because of how high school used to do their weight classes. Kids who weighed 152 went down to 149. Kids who weighed 160 went to 157. Kids who weighed 170 often went up to 174.

Now every school had the same dilemma but for whatever reason we seemingly whiff around that weight class. Glasgow probably could have been the guy there if not for his issues.

Lineup changes at 133, 149, 157 or 165, 197, 285

That is 5 different wrestlers in the lineup (2 were expected)
Not sure how much more change you expected.
Have to be realistic

Yes 2 were wrestlers who red shirted, but they were 2 of our top wrestlers.
We don't have that elite wrestler (a no doubter AA and potential Champ) on the team next season, that is probably the major change people wanted

Just my guess if Olivieri redshirts Britton would be the starter at 141.

Should be middle of the pack w/ Poz and Shawver back and addition of Yara. We aren’t going to get in the upper tiers until we can get a title contender.

I dred saying this... I'm concerned about Poz. A year off from competition and moving up a weight. His first year was great; had good potential - now in his fourth year with the program.

Yeah.. hard to say till we see him on the mat.. when Ash took a year off from competition and moved up a weight he did his best ever..

How am I supposed to know if you misunderstood?
We just have a different opinion.
TO ME, it seemed like they went after more wrestlers in the offseason than prior years.

DO i think we can do better than Goodale, of course there are better coaches.
Do i think any Head Coach who would be better than Goodale wants to come here?
My answer is probably not.
Was I excited about out performance this past season, Nope.

I am looking forward to next years team!
