[FONT=&quot]Before all the negative Nellies can get on here and tell us how bad our offense is and how good Memphis is let’s look at the offensive stats of Arkansas State’s, the opponent of the Tigers yesterday. [/FONT]

As long as we score we should be alright, our defense should do good enough. But, definitely a trap game on the road. We will need to be workmanlike and get by with less than A+ effort, just the nature of things. I see a very similar game to that Troy game a few years back.

It’s a sandwich game between two big home games so that worries me a little bit. They have the best offense we will have seen but the worst defense to date.

I think we will be roughly a touchdown favorite, possibly a little less than that. I feel like it’s a game we should expect to win and have felt that way consistently for months.

Memphis has a freshman QB who had an OK game to start the year then averaged nearly 20 yards per completion yesterday. I didn’t watch the Memphis game, so I’m not sure if those were mostly yards after the catch or if he was hurling it downfield. Definitely want to make sure our DBs aren’t getting torched repeatedly. I think we will score on Memphis

Coletta’s is awful. Not sure how Uncle Lou’s food translates at the Liberty Bowl, but it is some killer fried chicken if you go to the restaurant.

I think it could be a shootout type game with State pulling away in the second half. Going to be a lot of points scored.

Keys to the game are simple:

Don't make stupid penalties and don't turn the ball over. If we do that we'll beat the living crap out of them.

I agree with those keys to the game. And I expect this group to get a little better every game. If Arkansas State rolled up that much offense we might have a break out game. And that would be perfect to build some offensive confidence right before LSU. I wanna beat that *** again. 4 and 0 would be sweet.

For perspective, The week before vs FCS Central Arkansas, Ark State passed for 320 yards and 4 TD's with 194 yards rushing. 6.7 yards per play. And was losing at the half.

My last visit to Coletta's, which was years ago, we ordered a bruschetta appetizer with no cheese and lasagna. We got bruschetta with cheese and lasagna without cheese. It was basically noodles with sauce and I wish I was kidding.

Colleta’s is an abomination. I ate there once and was offended by the food they served us. Can’t even remember what I ordered, but you have to try to make food that bad.
