TCU has never won in Morgantown, going 0-5 in its first five trips. But neither had Texas Tech and we saw how that turned out.

But this is a game TCU has to have as it looks to build a resume worthy of inclusion in March Madness. With four games remaining, TCU needs to go 2-2 to get to the eight-win mark in conference play, which has been a benchmark number in previous years to earn a bid.

As far as West Virginia is concerned, it is the league’s worst defense team, the league’s worst 3-point shooting team, the league’s worst team at defending the 3, the league’s worst field goal percentage team (40.9 percent), and the list goes on.

Tuesday’s game marks the 100th game in the Jamie Dixon era at TCU. The Frogs are 63-36 under Dixon, who has turned around the program in impressive fashion. TCU is confident, of course. Despite the injuries and roster depletion, Saturday helped reaffirm its status as NCAA Tournament worthy.

TCU is just 1-6 on the road in conference play this season. WVU is just 2-5 at home and 0-7 on the road. TCU knocked off ISU this past Saturday.

We would be final 4 if Horton, Knapper, Chase and Routt got more minutes. WV boys can win it. Instate players are the most talented players in the college basketball. You better lock them down Huggs. If Knapper played all those minutes the last 2 games he would have scored 25-30 points both games. Baylor has no defense now and TCU is a mess. Both are fading and struggling.

McCabe got the minutes and didn’t have to look over his shoulder. Let Knapper get that and he would have won both games for us and it wouldn’t have took any overtime’s. Regardless Knapper and McCabe are going to pass up Beetle next year. Beetle is not a good starter. 6th man only.

Also it took McCabe 55 minutes and 3 overtime’s to get those stats. Knapper scores 25 points in regulation in a win over Oklahoma. If Knapper played tonight he would have scored a record amount. Knapper with 55 minutes against struggling TCU would have scored 40 points easy.

McCabe is the only true PG we have...... at least at this minute. Beetle and McCabe will be the 1 - 2 at PG next year. Knapper is no where near the leader and floor general of either of those two. McCabe has the best passing ability of anybody in the team. Not even close.

Next year Knapper will be fighting for pt at 2G (this is what he is) against a few JC shooters that can defend when Huggs fills out the rest of the schollies. Feel sorry for Knapper, but he's not a PG and struggles on D and isn't a shooter.
