Maybe for Iowa if Ferentz isn't trying to set his son up like Snyder is doing at KSU. I don't think his style of offense would work here.

Kind of like when posters blasted the possible PJ Fleck hire that he was no good here,getting divorced,then Hobbs hired AshError,who was also divorced.

Also making only 250k per year right now. Could be hired on the cheap side. Not likely going to win a division title at Rutgers but you'll see above average competence.

He's 50 years old right now so not too old either.

I think his Youngstown salary is supplemented by Nebraska still paying him just under $3M/yr since 2014

Maybe. I don't think his salary is out of the range of the going FCS rate though.

His Nebraska buyout was reduced in the same amount of his Youngstown St salary though, if that's what you mean.
